Apparently really meaningful. I haven’t seen the movie. It’s alright. I love how bizarre the 15-odd pictures of the guy are just sitting there.

This is a very difficult album to listen to. My Mother was a huge fan of this album and we listened to it in the car for years. My Mother passed away in December (I am writing this review in July) and the tender songs of love and devotion hit extra hard. Whitney Houston herself had an untimely death and difficult life. For me these losses commingle with the songs and make this a poignantly emotional listen. Whitney Houston can sing.  She must be among the greatest singers of all time. While the music is whatever her voice brings power to the album. Amazing.

I love how the cover shows one image of Whitney and many of Kevin Costner. It reinforces the sentiments of the film and how she was the focus.
