Music Ranking
I had heard good things about Revolver, AND THEY WERE RIGHT. Roughly ¼ of the way through listening to all the albums for my ranking, and I have found a new album that will go in my playlist. Highlights? All of them. Strangely, I find the sitar a little harsh to listen to at times. Also, the Revolver sessions produced Paperback Writer... Wow.

Album Art Ranking
Not my favourite… I feel as if the art accurately conveys how the album sounds, but is still too weird and messy to look at for my liking.

"I am struck by how different each song on Revolver is! As I listen to more music the commonalities and differences become so much more apparent. From the opening track Taxman which so effectively uses the call and response format, to a personal favourite Eleanor RIgby about the tension between loneliness and religion, I feel like the progression is seamless until “Good Day Sunshine” with its very upbeat sound which came at me as very unexpected. I know Max is a fan of this album and I can see why as in many songs there are experimental sections right up his alley. I notice this the most in Yellow Submarine with the talking submarine commands section with clanging and whistles, and also in I’m Only Sleeping, and Tomorrow Never Knows. I think Got to Get You into my LIfe might be an ultimate pick-me-up song and I loved listening to it on my walk to work! Excellent Album." 8.77/10
