I was really underwhelmed by this one. The songs are all amazing, but I felt that it was missing some “Special Sauce”. Something didn’t feel right. It felt kind of soulless in a way and more like a collection of good songs than a piece of art.

Really cool. I love how it looks and how it is appealing enough that I would hang it on my wall in the form of a poster. The photographer chose the right photo.

In listening to this album I discovered I do not like the song “Octopus’s Garden”. In fact I took a LONG break from this album because I got stuck on that song… But when I went back to this album a few months ago and got past Octopus’s Garden to the medley I could not believe how good it was. I really love “Carry that Weight” . It just really speaks to me right now with the load that we are carrying with work and personal responsibilities. As I understand it this is the last album the Beatles recorded (not the final released). Abbey Road is quite a masterpiece even if I think that I prefer Revolver for its experimental sounds.
