Music Ranking

I liked it more than Animals but not as much as Dark Side of the Moon. Much like animals, I felt that it was a little bit uninteresting in some of the instrumental sections, but felt that Shine on you Crazy Diamond was an exception to the rule and was really interesting, particularly parts 6-9. Wish You Were Here seemed a lot more similar to Dark Side of the Moon which may explain why I liked it so much.

I think Wish You Were Here is one of my favourite Pink Floyd songs. It has been a comfort to me after the deaths of some people very close to me. I like Welcome to the Machine too, actually I like all of this angsty music.

The album cover is really beautiful. By having the one fellow on fire I think it evokes how quickly our relationships can burn, or disintegrate, or just be over.
