Surprisingly good. I liked the actual songs a lot and thought the film score was really great too.

Hearing the actors have a few lines of dialogue was interesting, and the music was strong enough that paired with the titles I could tell what was going on.

How does one describe this album? It is a motion picture soundtrack for a movie about a drummer I guess. The songs all feature a lot of drums. I feel like it is one of the most impressive jazz albums I have ever heard. I do think the 9 minute version of Caravan with a 5 minute drum solo is not what I would typically choose to listen to but it works and I kind of love it.
