The album starts off with something much weirder than I expected. I always believed that Jimi Hendrx was just a great guitarist, I did not realize he had a truly unique approach to rock music. With that opening track “And the Gods Made Love” I knew I was in for an interesting experience. I suspect Max is going to like this, there is some incredible bass playing in here! Voodoo Chile has an excellent extended drum solo! I also really enjoy the organ in this one. Amazing! I am loving this vibe, the music has so much energy. It does not feel laggy at all. This was so fun and not what I expected. I love being surprised!
