This album is quite a departure from the anger of Jagged Little Pill.  I find that the religious overtones could be dividing for listeners.  I definitely still love the album and the songs Baba and Thank you.  But I also acknowledge that this is not for everyone. This album was released around the time Alanis played the part of god in the movie Dogma and I am curious if that experience influenced her music writing at that time.
